Let's take a look at how we can create an Asana API request for creating a task. (The following cURL code is obtained from the Asana developer website).

Importing Asana Request cURL Code into Apidog

apidog import curl code

First, select the Import cURL button from the drop-down list shown on the screen after pressing the purple + button.

curl --request POST \
     --url 'https://app.asana.com/api/1.0/tasks' \
     --header 'accept: application/json' \
     --header 'authorization: Bearer ACCESS_TOKEN' \
     --header 'content-type: application/json' \
     --data '
{
  "data": {
    "workspace": "WORKSPACE_GID",
    "name": "Sample task",
    "assignee": "me"
  }
}

Before importing the cURL code, make sure to replace ACCESS_TOKEN and WORKSPACE_GID in the cURL code to your actual token ad workspace GID. Refer to the steps above if you have forgotten how to.

apidog import asana curl code

Then, copy the cURL code above, and paste it into the pop-up window. Once completed, hit the OK button.
