February shipped eight releases focused on MCP debugging and Test Suite orchestration. March doubles down on accessibility and collaboration—giving free users enterprise-grade branching, bringing multi-turn AI conversations to published documentation, and expanding CLI capabilities to sprint workflows.
Here is everything new this month👇
⭐ New Updates
🔥 Unlimited Sprint Branches & API Versions—Now Free
This month, Apidog's free version can now create unlimited sprint branches and API versions. Previously, these capabilities were restricted to paid plans—today, every team can model parallel development workflows, isolate experimental API changes, and manage versioned documentation without hitting a ceiling.
Sprint branches let you work on feature development in isolation without disrupting the main branch. API versions enable you to publish and maintain multiple iterations of your API contract simultaneously. Together, they give even small teams and individual developers a structured, git-like development experience—built directly into Apidog.
This is part of our broader commitment to removing friction from the API development lifecycle, regardless of team size or budget.

✅ Optimizations
📄 Ask AI in Published Docs: Sidebar + Multi-Turn Conversations
The Ask AI feature in published documentation has been redesigned. Instead of a search box overlay, AI now lives in a persistent sidebar—making it easier to reference documentation while having an extended conversation. Multi-turn dialogue is now supported, so users can ask follow-up questions and iterate on answers without re-explaining context. This transforms documentation from a static reference into an interactive learning companion.

🔒 Enhanced Project Invitation Security
Project invitation links are now scoped to the invited account, preventing invitation link sharing across teams or unauthorized reuse. This closes a common security gap in collaborative environments where invitation links were previously accessible to anyone with the URL.
⚡ Test Scenario CLI Execution in Sprint Branches
Test scenarios can now be executed via CLI within sprint branches. This means you can run automated tests against feature branches as part of your CI/CD pipeline—validating API contracts before merging into the main branch. It brings the same level of test automation discipline to sprint branch workflows that teams already rely on in their main-line deployments.
👥 Team Member List Export
Teams can now export their member list directly from Apidog. This is useful for compliance reporting, access audits, and onboarding workflows where you need an offline record of who has access to which projects.
🔧 Adjustments
📛 Test Case Display Name
The display name "Cases" has been adjusted to "Test Cases" throughout the interface for improved clarity and consistency.
🔐 Certificate Information in Post Processor Scripts
Post processor scripts now support pm.response.socketSession, enabling you to obtain certificate information of the endpoint directly within your test scripts. This is useful for security-conscious teams that want to validate TLS details as part of their automated test assertions.
🐞 Bug Fixes
We resolved a total of 10 bugs this month:
- Fixed an issue where proxy configuration was not effective when automated tests referenced endpoints across projects.
- Fixed an issue where the connection was not released after debugging Socket.IO in some cases.
- Fixed an issue where configuring a custom navigation bar in documentation mistakenly displayed internal folders, resulting in 404 errors.
- Fixed an issue where test reports generated from legacy versions could not be viewed in the v2.8.20 desktop client.
- Fixed the issue where the Word format option was missing when exporting data.
- Fixed an issue where Body parameters in XML and Plain formats were not correctly imported when importing HAR files.
- Fixed an issue where data containing Parameters in Swagger 2.0 could not be imported in certain cases.
- Fixed an issue where invalid parent pre and post processor references were not cleaned up when exporting data in Apidog format.
- Fixed an issue where, in request-first mode, response validation of endpoint request history could not be viewed.
- Fixed an issue where the certificate status of custom domains could not be updated in real time.
🌟 Looking Ahead
March's updates reflect our ongoing investment in making Apidog the most accessible and collaborative API platform—regardless of team size. As we move into Q2, we are continuing to expand AI-native workflows, deepen git-first development integrations, and ship the infrastructure features that power enterprise-grade API programs at any scale.
