Delete Account

In this section, you will learn how to delete your Apidog account and associated data.

If you've decided to delete your account, follow these simple steps in your Account Settings to permanently delete your account and associated data from Apidog.

tip

Before proceeding with the deletion process, ensure that you have backed up any data you wish to keep, as all associated data can not be restored.

Deleting your Apidog account will also delete any API projects, documentation, and other data associated with your account. Please make sure to handle your credits and pricing plan in advance.

Proceed with caution when deleting your Apidog account.

How to Delete Your Apidog Account​

To delete an Apidog account, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Apidog account.

  2. Click your avatar icon in the top right corner to open Account Settings.

  1. Select My account in the left sidebar, and choose Delete Account.

  1. When you click the Delete button, a warning message will appear. Confirm that you wish to delete your account by clicking Go to quit.

Your account will now be deleted, and all associated data will be permanently removed from Apidog.

How to Delete Your Apidog Account in A Team​

When you delete your Apidog account, please quit or dismiss the My Workspace team before deleting the account.

  1. Select your team and navigate to the Settings section.

  2. In the Danger Zone, you can choose to transfer ownership of the team or dismiss the team.

  3. Transfer or Dismiss the Team

  • Transfer the Team: You can select a team member to become the new owner and click OK to transfer ownership successfully.
  • Dismiss the Team: Click Dismiss to dismiss the team, enter the team name, and confirm it.

  1. To access your account settings, select My account in the left sidebar.

  2. You can click on the Delete button. Simply click on Go to quit to confirm that you want to delete your account.

Last but not least, once you delete your account, you will no longer be able to access any of your data or projects on Apidog. If you have any issues or questions regarding the deletion account, please contact support@apidog.com for help.
