We are redefining how real-time APIs are documented. Apidog now supports Server-Sent Events (SSE) not just in debugging, but extensively in the API Design phase. Even better, these streaming responses are now fully rendered in your Published Documentation. This makes Apidog the first platform to treat SSE as a first-class citizen in API documentation, ensuring your consumers understand your real-time data flows instantly.
🤖 AI-Powered API Documentation Audits
Quality governance just got automated. You can now use AI to inspect your API documentation for completeness. The AI analyzes your spec to identify missing descriptions, undefined parameters, or ambiguous response structures, helping you enforce a rigorous standard of Contract Governance before you ship.
🔗 Direct Specs Import from GitHub, GitLab, and Azure DevOps
To further centralize your API lifecycle, we now support importing OpenAPI/Swagger specifications directly from GitHub, GitLab, and Azure DevOps repositories. This integration ensures your "Single Source of Truth" in Apidog stays aligned with your codebase, reducing manual uploads and version drift.

Automation is key to reliability. You can now attach dedicated Test Data directly to individual Test Cases. This allows for more robust regression testing by ensuring specific scenarios are always validated against the correct dataset, independent of global variable shifts.
🛡️ Environment-Level Network Proxies
For teams working behind complex corporate firewalls or dealing with region-specific constraints, you can now configure a general network proxy (supporting HTTP and SOCKS5 protocols) for the Base URL of each service within an environment.
⚡️ Optimizations
- Inline Variable Editing: You can now directly edit referenced variable names and dynamic value expressions inside input boxes, smoothing out the debugging workflow.
- Markdown Spell Check: Precision matters. Spell checking is now available when editing Markdown content, helping you catch typos in real-time to ensure your published documentation maintains a professional standard.
- Synchronized Markdown Scrolling: When editing Markdown descriptions, the editor and preview panes now scroll in perfect sync, making documentation updates faster and easier.
- Azure Key Vault Upgrade: When integrating Vault Secrets with Azure Key Vault, we now support the Client Credentials authorization mode for enterprise-grade security.

- Schema Import Stability: Fixed an issue where schemas were imported repeatedly when specifying folders during OpenAPI/Swagger imports, ensuring a cleaner, clutter-free specification.
