How to Set Up Shop Prices for Your Products in Shopify
You can update product prices in Shopify in two ways: using a CSV file or through Shopify’s built-in bulk editor.
Important: Do not change the Variant SKU when editing your products via CSV or bulk editor. The Airalo App relies on the SKU to correctly match and manage your products.
Choose All products, select CSV for Excel, Numbers, or other spreadsheet programs, and click Export products. Shopify will begin generating the file, and you’ll receive a download link via email once it’s ready.
5.
Open the CSV file in Excel received via email
6.
Locate the following columns:
Title
Variant Price → Set your desired selling price.
Cost per item or Net price (product.metafields.airalo_esim_attributes.net_price) → This is the net price in USD provided by the Airalo app.
7.
Save the updated file.
8.
Back in Shopify, click Import (also in the Products section).
9.
Upload your edited CSV file and confirm the changes.
⚡ Option 2: Update Prices with Shopify’s Bulk Editor#
In your Shopify Admin, go to Products.
1.
Check the box next to the top product to select all items on the page.
2.
Click Select all products in your store (a banner appears if more exist).
3.
Click Bulk edit (toolbar at the top).
4.
In the bulk editor view, click Columns → Add the following:
Price → Set your desired selling price.
Cost per item → The Airalo app sets this with the net USD price.
Sales channels... → Add Online Store, Shop, or other channels.
