Sometimes life seems too hard. Before I was married, I had images in my head of how my life would be. I would get married, have a few children, and live in a nice house, with flower beds across the front, with a beautiful red maple tree in the front yard. Life would be, well, perfect. I grew up in a chaotic, dysfunctional home. I knew my life would be different than my parents had been. I believed I was smarter than they were and would make better choices. That turned out not to be true. I married a handsome man who provided me with the ability to stay at home and raise my child, but life still was not perfect. That's the unbelievable thing about life, it's unpredictable, ever changing, and always giving us the unimaginable in pain and suffering. I was married to my 2nd husband Buzz for almost 38 years before he was called home to be with the Lord. We shared many interests which included traveling, fishing, flying airplanes, hiking, and dogs. Our life together had many challenges but ended well. Regardless of how difficult life can be there will always be hope and joy when the Lord is in it. Journey with me as I share how amazing a Christ filled life can be. He makes dreams come true.Book Review: Out on a Limb by Hannah Bonam-Young Overall, Out on a Limb was wholesome and uplifting, a perfect blend of gentle sweetness and heartfelt significance.
