Aiden, a smallboy from a small village in the of nowhere. Life was good in the village of Aite. His father was the local blacksmith, and his mother was a kind woman respected by everyone. Nothing ever changed in the village until a long column of soldiers arrived, temporarily disrupting day-to-day life. They soon left, but two weeks later, the leader of the soldiers came back alone, beaten, bloody and dying in the saddle. Before he died, he wove a strange tale of moving shadows. Aiden sets out to find the people who had hurt him and everyone he had ever loved Aiden teams up with the greatest demon hunter who ever lived, Fain of the guardians, and together they set out to stop and immortal witch from conquering the world.
