Web Browser Extension
This section provides guidance on downloading and using the Apidog browser extension for API testing.
To perform API testing in a Web Browser using the Apidog browser extension, Chrome or Edge is required.
Limitations.
- Certain HTTP Header names such as
Cookie
,Host
,Origin
,Content-Length
are reserved and will not have any effect when the request is sent. A complete list of forbidden header names can be found on the MDN Web documentation Forbidden header name. Modifying these headers is not allowed as the user agent maintains full control over them.
How to Install Apidog's Chrome Extension
- Extract the zip file.
- Navigate to chrome://extensions.
Ensure that developer mode is enabled.
- Refresh the Apidog Web page after loading for the changes to take effect.
